it's supposed to be based on cloud computing and use the chrome browser as a base. It will work on x86 (this includes the Intel Atom) and ARM processors.
It's supposed to be fast and virus free, etc. etc.

Way too high for expectations...
If this manages to solve some of Linux's problems (sound notably), then I'm all for it.
Unfortunately, the whole deal is way too ambitious and will require tons more resources that I doubt Google realizes.
