Please shrink your avatar.

I assume you're saying that the image is not stretched? Just set it to an S or DS mode. IIRC, the default fullscreen mode is a DR mode, so that's why the screen is not filled.

If there are bars on the horizontal or vertical, it's because you aren't using a 4:3 resolution and in the filter tabs, you will see it enabled by default.

I think he's using a monitor that doesn't scale up, or has it disabled. Select custom way at the bottom of the resolution list, and fill in the custom resolution with the native res of your monitor. And for dear god spend some effort spelling right.

Are you sure you're using the Windows or Linux versions, and not the DOS version?

Computer specs would also help, in the rare chance you had oddball lame hardware.

Edit: I'm starting to think you use Linux, and if that's the case, you have to compile with OpenGL support. Most distro binaries are distributed w/o it, so you get no stretching at all unless you use an OpenGL mode.

Well, something to try would be to get the latest Windows version off http://zsnes.com/ but system specs would be useful. You can get some information from system properties (Start, right click Computer, Properties) and dxdiag (start, type dxdiag in the search box and press enter). Stuff like manufacturer and model would be great, too. This can usually be found on a sticker somewhere on the case if it's a laptop.

EDIT: Also, you seem to have completely ignored my advice. Seems kinda silly to me to ignore advice, then post that you didn't find a solution.

ZSNES will not run fullscreen resolutions that your laptop does not natively support. It may be a better idea to go Windowed instead.
