I am having trouble loading this file Gekisou Sentai Car Ranger - Zenkai! Racer Senshi (Japan) (ST).sfc, it just doesn't want to seem to load.

I've also tried the srm versions from goodsnes, but no luck.

Can anyone please help?

Thanks

You would need to Sufami Turbo BIOS.

Also, please ask Cowering (his website is www.allgoodthings.us) to use proper extensions. SMC is an old, obscure copier extension from the 90s.

SNES cartridges: .sfc
BS-X flash cartridges: .bs
Sufami Turbo cartridges: .st
Nintendo Super System cartridges: .nss

Because JMA coveres all types and stores them in a compressed file. It isn't a specific SNES ROM format.

Wait, what? I haven't played zsnes in a couple of months since my old laptop died; I now have a new laptop with a 64 bit processor, that means that my cd with .smc SNES roms is now obsolete?

Problem only applies to 64-bit *builds* of the JMA library. ZSNES, as far as I know, has never been anything but 32-bit.

Also, I fixed the problem by replacing the LZMA decompression code with the latest C version from the LZMA SDK. Now it just works on 64-bit systems, as well as 32-bit. Which matters for Linux, but not so much for Windows yet, because nobody has made a 64-bit build of bsnes yet.

Further, why would you burn your SNES ROMs to a CD? They're perfectly fine on a hard drive. Unless that was, like, from back when it was more convenient to burn files to optical media and delete them than it was to just slap in another 2TB hard drive. Oh wait, Mexico. Never mind then.

I don't think it was Cream of the Ocean (sp?), it was someone ... from above. Hmm ... who could it be?

Sorry, I meant Kode54 in that post. I should have been more clearer.
