WOOT! New Laptop!

Post by SquareHead »

This is what I got

Its not great, but Its still alright. I like that it has 1GB of non-shared graphics memory. It sounds as if it could borrow in addition to, but I doubt that would be even remotely helpful. Have to wait to my days off to copy some of my steam games to it and see how they run.

Dude, don't hold out on us. Share the wealth.

$899 @ Wal-Mart

Loaded the Left4Dead series on there, and Rainbow 6 Vegas 2, they seem to play alright. I haven't noticed any dropped frames. All in all not bad. Its convenient when I want to whip out my giant slab and play a few games here and there without lugging my home box around.

seemed apropos, so i'm borrowing your topic and sharing in the WOOTness.

asus ul30vt - melikey. a lot.

(13.3" thin-and-light with a C2D SU7300 @ 1.3 that factory overclocks to 1.73, 4GB, 500GB, switchable graphics between intel integrated to save battery and nv for real stuff. no optical, but i already have a tiny external burner so nbd.)

can't get a sixaxis to pair via bluetooth, though. at least it works via USB.
Why yes, my shift key *IS* broken.
