Weapons Inventory on A Link to the Past

Post by Day3091 »

Hey everyone,

I'm currently feeling super nostalgic and awesome playing A Link to the Past but can't seem to find the right keypad controls to select the inventory.

I was wondering if anyone has had siilar problems or knows where to direct me for further advice?

Thanks

David

I'm using a laptop keyboard for my controls and the only buttons that are responding are A,S,Z and X which I figure are replacing the 4 main buttons on the original SNES controller but I can't seem to find a way to use one of my keys as a "Start" replacement on any of the config menus

You go to config -> input, click he "#1" tab, then click the box next to start, what happens? At this point it should prompt you to press a key.

So, what's stopping you here? Does it lock up? Does it spit out an error? Does it act like you're holding some other key? Be more specific about your problem.

Also, hint: the <Enter> key is by default mapped to Start.

*off-topic hijack*

i having trouble setting <Enter> key to be mapped as 'Start' in ePSXe, i must resort to manual registry editing to achieve that.
