still, i wish they'd permitted l2/l3 charges and given you a worthy target
See, that kind of thinking is what gave us the GBC Crystalis.
And what would you DO for L2 and L3? You've ALREADY got a L1 shot that's so awesome it's special-cased and only usable in a single room because of it.
fair enough.
clash at demonhead was pretty sweet, though not to the same level as bm, it did have a bad case of "i can't tell if the boss is taking damage or not" and the most retarded luck-based mission ever at the last scene of the game.

Gil isn't aware of the existence of the RYNO
never enuff dakka
RYNO v.Crystalis: stream of Lv 2 wind, fire, water, and thunder shots in the three directions thunder v2 normally goes (one projectile in a random direction every, say, 5 frames), punctuated by a forward Crystalis shot every 60th frame. 8-bit version of the 1812 overture is optional but encouraged.

dakkadakkadakka.
That clacking sound at the end is the internal components of your NES coming apart and pelting the case with bits of metal, plastic, and silicon.
Also: Thunder 2 was a... 7-way spread of rings, I think. Thunder 1 was three-way lightning bolts.
The Sword of Thunder was so awesome.

You have your 2s, 4s, 8s, 16s, 32s, 64s, and 128s(crash course in binary counting!). But no 1s.
DirectInput represents all bits, not just powers of 2 in an axis.

dakkadakkadakka.
you really liked that one, heh.
oh well, maybe the 6th will fit my tastes better ;p
wasn't so much the weapon itself but the accompaniment.
and yeah, total brainfart on the sword of thunder projectiles. a day of slogging through vba (there isn't even a damn incrementer!) apparently wreaks havoc on my mental well-being.

whatcha doing in it?
custom reporting from a complex spreadsheet where that data is in no way pivottable-friendly. it's not the ideal tool, but "when all you have is a hammer..."
