Maybe I should have, but no. Everyone knows that in order to PUSH THE WHEELS OF JUSTICE in copyright matters, the holder is the only one that can.

What I did was tell him how to pass through an obstacle and he was all "Hey, have you played roms before?" and I was like "Uh, it was just logic."

Not much. Moved up to Dublin last year to get a job working for Xbox customer support. A nightmare as you can imagine. I am now unemployed and happier. Trying to find work in a recession. What are you doing in school?

Geez, Xbox customer support. I bet you have some "interesting" stories to share. Good luck finding work. I'm currently majoring in video production. I just switched to it, so it's mainly prerequisite courses at the moment.

I mentioned this before, but I got nostalgic and decided to dust off a few of the old places I used to go to all the time. Think I might fire up the old IRC client and hop on EFNET soon.

You won't find much on Efnet anymore. Go to Freenode for #zsnes.

There still are a bunch of people on EFnet, including #turkishguy, which we have ops in once again. Although that channel tends to be really dead, compared to #whattheboat, which is also fairly dead. And #zsnes, which is not so dead, depending on the time of the day.

But yeah, Freenode, that's where the developers actually idle. Pagefault pops in now and then, too.

I'm a little surprised this place is still around.

Man, I should've waited like six weeks so it could've been exactly 4 years since my last post. Whatever.

Pretty standard story, I suppose. Know-it-all kid with too short of an attention to finish anything --> slightly-less-of-a-know-it-all 20-something with big corporation programming job. At least my computer is too slow to handle the massive amount of Java-based software we use, so I have an excuse to spend half the day surfing Reddit on my phone, and I normally only have to work 40-45 hrs/week.

I don't spend enough time playing classic games on emulators any more, that's for certain.

Just dropped by to say basically the same thing. The late 90s incarnation of this site was the first forum I ever used on the web.

I was "Belgarath12"; though I doubt anyone would remember me. It's been a LONG time. (Also, I'm not any of the Belgarath12s that show up in a google search)

Still play with zsnes sometimes, though. Easily my favorite emulator of all time.
