Glad to see Gabest finally took a break from his PS2 plugin.

Wow, nice release. I started using this for a couple of days and it rocks.
Try out CCleaner and other free software at Piriform

Hmm it seems more stable I guess. That anoying bug where some subtitles wouldn't show up in directx 9 renderless was fixed. Also that shader thing is kind of neat to mess around with.

The Kazaa Lite codec pack have WMP-classic bundled. I wonder if their codec
pack is updated but I can't find it on their page.

What's wrong? I've never used the DefilerPak, but it looks like it should work just fine.

It loves to hang my QT files. Using the latest QT Alternative.
Maybe its the problems with the files I downloaded... trailers from Apple

I put in that poll. It was just an experiment. Why is the Tech Talk forum the only lace where you can create a poll?

They usually install a lot of shit you don't need by default. Ffdshow, QuickTime, and Real cover pretty much everything that isn't built into MPC. Oh yeah, and I snatched the source code to Gabest's Bink/Smacker DirectShow filter before he removed it from CVS. All your intellectual property are belong to me.

You MUST make a 6.4.8.3+Bink build, dammit.

It's not part of MPC. I built the external filter. Somebody is probably going to kill me for
this . Stick filter and your choice of binkw32.dll (included) and/or smackw32.dll in any folder other than %systemroot% or %systemroot%\system32, register it with regsvr32, enjoy. (Remember to regsvr32 /u before removing.)

I never knew he made a DShow filter out of it. Sweet. Thanks!

Actually, all of the decoders are DirectShow filters which can be integrated into the player application or built as stand-alone modules.

The DefilerPak is the only package of codecs I've found that can play nearly every single video/audio format under the sun. It is comprised of:
ffdshow
AC3Filter
CoreAAC DirectShow filter
Ogg DirectShow filter
CoreVorbis
Matroska DirectShow filter
VSFilter
DivX Audio
It can be found
here .

So now it is K-Lite megacodec pack vs. Defiler pack. Who will win the match?
