How do I pick state with the ZSNESW 1.51?

Hi everyone, im having trouble picking a state i.e level on my zsnesw but it used to work. I can no longer choose the level. Please help.

while you play a game press Esc and go to game tab select pickstate :)

Or use the F3 menu.
