Question on Dejap's banner

i just noticed this, but why is there the chinese characters (in wades-giles romanization) "zhong wen" on the banner?

I think at one time DeJap was affiliated with some Chinese site or something. This was before my time so I'm not really sure on the details.

I know DF has Chinese background of some kind, so maybe he knows. Haven't spoken to him recently though.

The previous incarnation of the site mentioned something about a Chinese-language mirror. I clicked the link once out of curiosity, but the link was dead.

I think.

This was a while ago, and my memory is pretty poor, so I might be very wrong about it.
