I know I'm doing this right (I think)

Is there a reason why the cheats don't want to work correctly? I'll use U.N. Squadron as an example. The cheat I'm using is for unlimited ammo, and it works fine during the level, but once I finish the level, the game locks up and I can't do anything. But this happens to me for EVERY game I've tried. And the fact that the cheat works in-game means I'm entering it correctly. It's just when a level ends is when it freezes. Any ideas?

Post your rom info, maybe it's a bad dump. Or the Code just fucks up the game.

Since PAR codes like to mess up with important RAM and ROM, you may have to toggle your code on and off before you finish the level.
