Re: KI and Ys IV issues or bugs?
What? This bug has been around as far back as I can remember. There is another stage that does the same thing, but it's not a common stage. It has to do with the display engine because toggling between the new/old engines resolves the problem while introducing others.galamonth wrote:Killer Instict - The ring on the Combo stage doesnt appear at all in fact most of the background is black. I think the display engine bugs are probably much easier to fix than low-level SNES problems, but they have been around entirely too long. You would think that this causes the developers to waste a lot of time troubleshooting graphics issues that may not be an emulation issue at all.

err, toggling the "Windowing" setting with the '9' key affects the BG and transparencies, not so much the new/old graphics engine.

Toggling *seems* to fix it, but then the other stages go to shit.Agozer wrote:Killer Instinct has been doing this as far as I remember. Toggling Windowing fixes it.
It would be nice if we could get this glitch out of the way for good. I have no doubt that it would fix numerous graphics issues in many other games.
