custom member titles isn't a bad idea, though. (there are other things i see wrong with this place but i wont say anything :/)

The idea is to say whatever you feel the board needs. If you see something wrong with these forums, please express your opinion.

As for the random number thing, it comes included by default with phpBB 2.0.17 (iirc) and higher.

If only there was a mod to where you can't input a www link in your www section of your profile till you get ~10 posts would be nice.

Also, a mod which would disable the use of <img src=""></img> and tags in the sig space.

EDIT: shouldn't this be in the forum section of the boards ?

The old board skin that Noxious Ninja was fixing would be nice. Other than that, the suggestions posted before seems alright.

What, exactly, are spoiler tags? Hiding part of a text so that you have to deliberatly click to see it? How about <spoiler></spoiler>. We don't need the board modded to all hell just to have a little convenience like that. Just fucking warn people, or something.

I have a sig-pic.

Clements has a sig-pic.

snkcube has a sig-pic.

I think it's phonymike with a php script, that looks like a sig-pic.

even sig-pic-less posters have sigs that take up as much space as a pic. with their quotes and sayings and all that jazz.

basically, aol's suggestion is dumb. VERY strict regulations, i can understand. complete banning is just dumb.

how about a special mod that only I can use, that will work like a random avatar thingy. except it'll make my posts look like random users. it would randomely pick some awesome user (definately not AoL) and change my avatar, sig, and name to the bullshit stored in their profile. that's what we really need.

oh and also me as a mod cause all these mods here suck.

In my opinion this board needs a KARMA system.. it will get the users who think they are 1337 because they have many posts to also start caring how to behave. The way things are now, it works like... "I have more posts than you, therefore my penis is also bigger than yours". that really isn't a good way.. so a karma system would be very nice.. and maybe it would get some of the idiots to thinktwice before making stupid spam posts just to raise their post count..
Also. Some kind of quiz to make sure now members read the rulers, where you need 95% of the answers correct and there are at least 5 alternatives for each answer would be nice..
And That all 0 post members that have had 0 posts for 30 days are automatically deleted.

Wasn't there a karma system on here once before, like 4 or 5 years ago? And it turned into a disaster. People were karma spamming and Soul, I think it was, started a thread to see how low he could go with it.

What we really need is more animated emoticons, especially something for "WTF?". Really.

Still.. wich is wiorse? a few threads about Karma spaming that can easely be locked, or several posts a day that wouldn't be there if it wasn't for postcounts? one can also state in the rules that such behaviour is subject to get your ass banned... And besides.. whoever it was starting the "c'mon, smite me" thred, we all did a great job keeping his karma to a nice neutral zero.. so I think it could work anyhow.. eithar that, or replace any postcount over 1000 with "I am lame" or something..

SNKcube has not been posting as much of late. In fact, he has been making some good contributions. He makes some interesting threads about new game releases that I would normally never know of.

Oskar: You are always bitching about post counts, and you have often accused me of posting to make my count larger. I do not give a shit about post counts. I post whenever I feel. The last time that I cared about post counts was when I was at around 200 posts, which was the most that I had accumalted at any board.
This board has a pretty relaxed athmosphere. Many posts are silly and a tad non-sensical, especially in the General Nonsense forum. I think that you are confusing these kind of posts with "posts which would not exist were it not for postcounts." However, the other ZSNES related forums are a different matter. People are quite serious and to the point in these forums, as it should be. I just looked at the top 25 posters ion the memberlist, and I cannot think of one person who posts to make his "e-penis" bigger. Even Fireknight/Cyrus tries to make sense, even though he fails miserably every time.

The way they work on Penny Aracde sets the text and the background color to black. This way the text is only visible when you select it.
