Saves and Cheats... not working

Okay, I'm a new member. Hello. =P

Anyway, I used to run ZSNES on Windows, but I recently got sick of using Microsoft's evil OS, and changed to Ubuntu Linux. I had backed up my saved games, and installed the Linux version of ZSNES on my PC today. However, when copying my ROMS, saves and cheats into the folder and running ZSNES, I have found that the save files and cheats aren't loading.

Any ideas as to why this may be?

EDIT: Doesn't matter. I've figured it out by myself. I needed to allow my folders to show hidden files and folders, then go into the one labelled .zsnes. I just had to copy them into there.
