Highres text gets garbled by the filters

Text with no filters applied:

Text with scanlines applied:

The same happens with the various other filters; the text becomes something that borders on unreadable.

Then don't use those filters... Because they do just what they're supposed to.

Edit: Oops, didn't notice the text wasn't high-res anymore.

Hires and filters just don't work at the moment. This would be resolved when we have shader based filters (requires a DX9 card) and use D3D.

There's nothing you can do about it, sorry.

No this will be resolved when I find the fucking time to linearize the filter algorithms and make them work with hires/interlace.

Code: Select all
