Chrono Trigger flickers during battle

Chrono Trigger flickers during battle
Everytime I enter a battle in chrono trigger the screen begins flickering? Is this simply my monitor or an actually bug?

1.42 and WIPs prior to and including 2/17/06 should not have any flicker.

Both statements are related to each other. IOW, there is no ETA.Please don't ask when this will be fixed. Wait for the new core before even considering asking about this being fixed.

Just compiled on Windows to r4538 and two long time CT bugs appear to be fixed. No flickering in Chrono Trigger, and now the walking/running animation shows up properly. I hope other people can replicate that same behavior.
Assuming what I noticed can be replicated - congrats to pagefault et. al for some great core fixes!
