I am starting a Shin Bokura no Taiyoh translation (ShinBok), and I would like to use your name for the project, only slightly edited. Neo DeJap.

This name would only be warranted if the team was composed of at least a few former Dejap members, or people who had very strong ties with Dejap and have their permission.

As it stands, you're making the impression that you merely want to get some easy publicity for your project by using their name, which is very, very rude IMO.

Also, people would look at you as the guys who translated Start Ocean and Tales of Phantasia, and look for support at you guys. Or, people will come here and ask for support on your translations.

It pays to be a bit original.
