100% on new super mario is proving to be a bit more difficult than i thought. i think that i just need one more secret exit to get the second star. worlds 1-5 no longer have any star coins.

Getting 100% on the New Super Mario Bros. isn't so hard. It just has some tricky ways to get them.

I was pissed off cause I didn't beat the game at first. not because I lack skillz, but because I was collecting all the coins and shit. I was unaware that you can save the game at any time after you beat the game. so my ds was sitting in sleep mode and shit for weeks. they should have mentioned it in the manual, what else is it there for?

Been playing Call of Cthulhu Dark Corners of the Earth at home for a loooong time. Haven't had a chance to see much of it these days between HD crashes, homework and some other stuff.

I started to play Brave Fencer Musashi, but left it at chapter 3 I think. IMHO it's good game to play and waste some time.

At work (yes, I like to take risks) I'm playing Terranigma.

I left some other games pending since a couple months ago. I plan to finish DCoTE before I start playing anything else on PC.
What?

I didn't even know that, thanks for the heads up.

I've been playing this Half-life 2 game and it's quite enjoyable. After that I'll partake in HL2 Episode 1 and then I'll either start Mother 3 (upon translation), Contact, or Final Fantasy III. Whichever comes out first.

check www.mother3.org for translation progress. I expect the next update will come upon release of the patch, which will hopefully be within the next month.

Neither did I.

I finished Half-Life last night. It is up there in my list of games that just thrilled the shit out of me. I am playing some Half-Life Opposing Force now, and I'm starting "Fallout." I'm still playing some DS games every now and then.

I think my last bought console games were GTASA on the PS2
and Zelda 4 Swords, Baiten Kaitos and Metroid 2, all on the GC.
I havent played anything in general for a fair while except on handheld-
I used my GBA alot for mario kart, but have now just bought a ds lite.
I only have my gba games at the moment (golden sun, mario kart).
I was thinking about buying the new ds mario game, but since i played the
snes versions more than a few times, im wondering if its really different
enough to be worth it-the price being the major factor- yes, no cash at the moment... :(

as for retro games, id like to try another world as I never managed to
complete it on the snes or genesis, but I havent downloaded VBA (visual
boy advance) yet- this is an official -yes, legal- free conversion of the
game you can use on VBA (i think you can select english on the games
start up menu)...

is it as good as the n64/snes versions? i think most sites claim it has a
slightly different format, eg with a focus on storyline on some stages, but the
game plays pretty similar?

Just started up Grandia 2 on the DreamCast again. Completely forgot the story, so I started over.

Pick up Syphon Filter: Omega Strain a few days ago. It was an OK game, but way to short.

Started to play PlanetSide again, though only every now and then.

I plan on starting to play Planescape: Torment again after I get my computer up and running.

I'm playing World of Warcraft again after quitting for a few months. It's fun again, so I'll be sticking around for a while. Probably until the expansion comes out, at the least. Those new Blood Elves are hot, let me tell you. Even the males.

Other than that, it's been between going to the arcade and helping them turn our DDR cabinet into a Stepmania one, playing CS:S with my roommate, or playing a bit of Toribash online. My PS2 is borked (I need a new expansion port, which is a pain in the ass to replace; it still plays DVDs, though.), so I haven't been doing much in the way of console gaming.

Yes, it's about teh same as the N64/snes versions but it's not like a scroll shooter. It's a lot like starfox 2 but you have to do everything with the stylus absolutely EVERYTHING except shoot every button on the DS including the control pad is firing. That's what makes it bit hard to play until you get used to it.

Play it if you're more interested in playing games centered around an art style than gameplay; because the gameplay isn't too fun. The cheshire cat is one cool cat though ha ha ha.

Ha ha.

I finished NEW Super Mario Bros. as quickly as I could, so i could use the save feature. I have fully completed the first two worlds and am almost finished with world three. I also figured out how to get to world four!

Playing LOTS of Fallout. Very addictive.

Going to play through Phoenix Wright on random occasions over the next few months. DS FTW.

Megaman ZX is not as good as I expected. I got it today. It feels more like a gba game then a DS game. :|

But you shall, the low level cap sees to that. But even with that I still squeezed alot of playtime out of the games, atleast 40 hours each.
