Name This Game Yet Again

Post by Starman Ghost »

Hopefully this'll be the last one of these threads in awhile. It's a game my freinds and I used to play back in highschool some time ago. I don't know if anyone will get this though. It's kinda obscure but I'm hoping.

Basically it is a windows freeware game. It was a turn-based strategy game. You hade this small little world divided up with hexagons everwhere. You would control a certain amount of land as would the cpu player. For each area(your land was split in several places) you would have a little "base" kinda thing where you could train soliders of varing strength, with the higher ones requiring more food(food was obtained just by expanding your land). If your solider got cut off from the land and the new areas land wasn't enough to support him he would die. You could build towers to prevent the other players from coming onto your land without a sufficiently strong solider. The game supported multiple players of both cpu and human. It might have been called Castle or Tower or something, but I can't remember or find anything. Thanks.

Actually, the game is much much simpler than that. It's from the win9x era. Game is 10+ years old.

Well, since the game is probably too obscure, can anyone reccomend some good freeware win9x game sites? I'll just go through all thier archives, maybe I'll get lucky.

Not quite sure if this is old enough or not, but could it be "Wodan - The Trial"?
