BS Zelda - Ancient Stone Tablet: Indoor patches available

Post by Con »

Hi, I'm from the BS-Zelda Homepage http://www.bszelda.zeldalegends.net - and wanted to tell you that new patches for AST are available at our page now, which fix the dungeon indoors. So finally we are making good progress! :D

If anybody is interested in that game, we can still need skilled hackers for developing patches. Some ideas what is left to be done is listet for BS-Zelda at
http://www.bszelda.zeldalegends.net/bs1ideas.shtml
and for AST at
http://www.bszelda.zeldalegends.net/sekibanideas.shtml

There's also a classic BS Zelda 1 project, located at
http://www.bszelda.zeldalegends.net/ce.shtml
This project was started by a "hacker legend" - Dreamer Nom, but unfortunately he vanished without completing his time patch.

So have fun while playing AST and any help is welcomed

Nice site. Anyway you could get a brief description about each of the three Zelda`s? Im kinda confused on the difference between stone tablets and Link to the Past.

Thanks :)

BS The Legend of Zelda (Third Quest) is a 16 bit remake of the original
first Zelda on NES. It poses itself as sort of a additional quest besides
the two that were in the old game (you may recall that by completing it, you
were allowed to start over with harder dungeons).

BS The Legend of Zelda Kamigami no Toraifosu (Triforce of the Gods) is
simply A Link to the Past broadcasted through the BS-X Satellaview. No
noteworthy differences outside of the coding.

BS The Legend of Zelda Kodai no Sekiban (Ancient Stone Tablets) on another
hand, is a sequel to A Link to the Past that uses a very similar engine and
map, the same enemies and (most) items to tell an all new (albeit simple)
story with new dungeons (and caves).

Something I truly wanted but that never happened was a remake of the original zelda. Quest I & II exactly like the original NES but with BS graphics. I tried Zelda Classic but... the sound effects and music stays the same.
Yes I know that my grammar sucks!
