Post by benleung »

Hi,

It may be a ver stupid question.
I wanna to know how to load a game which contain two roms.
For example: I got two roms Sf12101a.078 and Sf12101b.078 but it is one game.
How can i load this two roms together?

Thankz alot and everyone have a nice day ^-^

Use NSRT+Frontend to merge the two ROMs together.
<Nach> so why don't the two of you get your own room and leave us alone with this stupidity of yours?
NSRT here.

aka ZSNES loads multipart ROM images just fine. Run the first part and your done.

Although AoL said, maybe it's better for you to just merge the multipart ROM.

Will they not also both run from a single zip file?

Split rom support assumes extensions with .a or .1 as the starting extension. This is supported with zip files as well (but not .gz though).

GZip only allows one file inside, so of course it's not supported with .gz (and don't anyone dare bring up TAR or any other file merging with metadata format).
May 9 2007 - NSRT 3.4, now with lots of hashing and even more accurate information! Go download it.
