Bubsy refuses to run... no dogs around.

Greetings. This is my first post here even though I've been following ZSNES since 1999. Thanks/congrats for everything.

Anyway, this topic is about a bug I discovered yesterday. I tried to play Bubsy in Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind (any version) with ZSNES 1.50/1.51. The game freezes before the first stage starts and Bubsy's sprite keeps "waiting" forever on the stage title screen.
The game had several graphic glitches on 1.42 but it was still playable.

PS: Before I submitted, I tried some WIPs. The game looks flawless with some 2006 WIPs (02/19-05/27). The bug that's present in 1.50/1.51 started on the 09/04 WIP.

Edit: To make it clearer, the graphical glitches of 1.42 were gone on WIP 02/19 untill 09/04, where the game started freezing. So now I am using WIP 05/27, the latest build that runs Bubsy fine.
