Hmm. I suppose he'd have to compress the graphics slightly using a default graphics compression method supported by the standard SNES hardware without any kind of extra coprocessor. So the hassle would be to find the best method for each graphical data, compress it, put it at a certain offset, hack ...

Well, the other option is to always be in select mode: The 'overclocked' battle returns to normal speed once you push 'A' once. From this normal-paced situation, you can press X to bring up the skill/item/tactics/etc. menu [pauses the battle], then, if you cancel the menu with B, the battle remains ...

Why not? :) It's cool to play the game as it was in different regions to see how it differs. Even though it is pointless to even do so. :) Pointless and painful, as most french translations are just horrible. The next time I see 'Trap' translated as ' Trappe ' in a game I'll hunt down the localizat...

Re: I've seen your screen shots
I know that it fills height. I was asking you to check if it filled height without overscanning anything left or right (which would mean a 4:3 pic).Reznor007 wrote:Yes, they fill the full height of the TV. A TV naturally stretches everything it receives to 4:3.
Check carefully.

I *really* don't know what happens. Since MaxSt's optimized his code with MMX instructions, I've got 1024*768 DS FULL with hq3x running at 60/60 (or 50/50) flawlessly. And I have a P4 1.8GHz, 448MB of ram an old GeForce4 MX 440 (with freaking old drivers - that work perfectly, mind you-) and directX...

Re: I've seen your screen shots
Your TV screen is 4:3. Now tell me that SNES games took the full height of it without missing anything on the left/right (i.e. overscan).Reznor007 wrote:4:3, simple questionMaxSt wrote:which is, in you opinion, equals _____ ?Hitokage wrote:...while retaining correct aspect.
