NVidia drivers and current CVS

Post by Z_God »

I'm having some trouble getting OpenGL modes to work on my system.

I'm using the current CVS version now and when I try to switch to one of the OpenGL modes, I just get a black window.

I have already tried several things, such as compiling against the NVidia headers and switching from 24-bit to 16-bit colors.
Other OpenGL applications seem to work properly.

Could this be a problem in the current CVS version? Is this combination working properly for someone? (Could you provide me binaries in that case :)
Thanks a lot in advance!

Could YOU tell us at least what Linux distro you use? And also what the resolution you are trying to run is? Sorry for being harsh but you seem literate when it comes to computer stuff in general so you should understand that such info would be useful.

Also support for CVS versions is limited. Have you tried compiling/running the latest WIP version?

Yep, sorry I indeed forgot some stuff :S
I was using Debian Etch and it happend with any OpenGL mode.

The problem is already fixed though. It seems there is something wrong with my set-up which affects compiling. Nach provided me with a build that seems to be working great.

Thanks for your post.
