What's in ZMV?

What exactly is inside a ZMV file? Could it be considered a ROM game file, or is it just a list of ZSNES instructions?

Well it's a file that lets you play movies for the zsnes. Everyone knows that though to say it plainly.

Yeah...I just want to know the innards of the file. If it could be considered a "ROM of SNES" or a ROM game file. I'm just checking because I heard someone say this on some forum I can't quite remember right now.

edit: ZSNES was supposed to be SNES, fixed now.
