Ya it's getting old... BUT the Wii is a fraction of the PS3's price, that alone will get them a shitload more sales for those who don't feel like caughing up a liver and a few pints of blood for a console.

I know for a fact that the unavailability of the PS3 (and the Wii) is helping drive 360 sales. A week ago, the Walmart by me had a dozen 360's in it's case. Yesterday there was 1. Target was similar.
