New Star Ocean bug I think...

Post by HunterKiller_ »

I've just reached Tatory (the town with the arena).
Did all the necessary tasks, then when I left the town, Iria and Cius both disappeared!
They both come out and joined back up, but when I opened the menu they aren't there! They aren't present during fights anymore either. Wtf?!

When you post bug reports, using hardpatched versions of the rom are frowned upon.

Post the NSRT output regarding the original, japanese copy of Star Ocean. Not something that has an English translation hard patched into it.
whicker: franpa is grammatically correct, and he still gets ripped on?
sweener2001: Grammatically correct this one time? sure. every other time? no. does that give him a right? not really.

They're in your reserve slots.

Not a bug.

(Note: 6BA9E08D is the correct crc32 for a dejap'ed clean SO rom - which is 3DBDFDBF, fyi)

soft-patching = using the unmodified ROM and an IPS file with the same filename, patching occurs only in RAM
hard-patching = using a tool to modify the ROM file permanently
