Analog triggers are inverted

Hi, I'm using ZSNES 1.51 (Linux) with my gamepad which has two analog shoulder buttons. I can bind stuff to them in the configuration gui but then the game will act as if the button is always held down. When I press the button the game will act as if I just released it.

Strangely enough this can be worked around by doing the following: Go into configuration, hold the button down, click at the command to bind and when it asks to press the button, release it instead. Then the button will correctly work in the game.

The rest of the gamepad is working fine, even the analog sticks, it's only the triggers that are acting up. Anyway, ZSNES rocks!

(Btw: You know what would be really really cool? If I could bind fastforward or slowdown to these buttons and the game speed would correspond to how much I press the button in ;)
