I'm tempted to answer "a brain" here. But maybe that'll sound too harsh.

Maybe.

There's stupid and then there's retarded beyond all help.

sweener2001: Grammatically correct this one time? sure. every other time? no. does that give him a right? not really.

A web browser, like the one you used to get here. Imagine that!

Umm, wget is a program that you use to download files from the internet.
Plus, I was just joking around (though honestly, you really can use wget to download it :P )

It's a possibility that he is joking. If you can get to the zsnes website. Then you probably know how to download files too. What a jokester. 8)

@Franky: I'm sure wget makes it very nice to download files from a place without internet access.
He specifically asked what he needed to download it successfully. So, incorrect answer.

It's probable that he wasn't. You don't properly understand the depths of retardation that make it here.

I find it quite hilarious that this guy calls himself "stewie".

(It's the name of that baby in Family Guy -- the baby is really intelligent).

Meh, I just think if you know how to get to a website you know how to download too. And Gil, you're starting to antagonize me on these boards a little bit. Well anywho he's probably figured it out already so it makes no difference.

*explains*

You see, the zsnes board has a long and storied history of having complete and utter fucking morons come online and ask questions that are at best obviously answered using logic, and at worst are products of lazyness.

Hence peoples' strong reaction against this guy.

I might be a bit off on the details, but this should be correct.

I'm heartbroken. Really I am.

And you think wrong.
Experience tells me that there ARE people that don't know how to download files, but are still capable of registering for the forum to ask how to download a file.

Experience also tells me there are people that CANNOT READ that can still register for a forum and post successfully. I've never figured that one out.

3 pages of "missing dinput7.dll" threads.
THREE SOLID PAGES.
DESPITE THE BIG RED WARNING ON THE FRONT PAGE ABOUT NEEDING TO UPDATE TO DIRECTX 7.

That was the exact moment I lost all faith in humanity.

There's also the people that can't figure out how to run zip files, load games, grasp that they can't type character names on the keyboard like a PC game, try to run NES games, try to run Genesis games, try to run GameBoy games, try to run FUCKING PLAYSTATION GAMES!, and God only knows what I've forgotten.

Oh come on, it's called ZSNES, it's easy to think it plays games from playstation, NES, gameboy, N64, and pretty much every single system ever created. Of course if they RTFM they might discover, I believe it is in there somewhere: "ZSNES is a program for emulating the Super Nintendo" or something to that effect. As if the name of the damn program isn't enough. And then we have those poor souls who don't even understand basic file management and can't seem to find the ROM files that it turns out they didn't download in the first place. On the other hand, it does result in "fun" threads like this...

And everybody forgot something very important for downloading ZSNES properly! A computer! (or cell-phone, or some other networkable device).

That should solve his problem. "Oh, I see, I was trying to use my toaster, but I couldn't install windows! the CD kept melting everytime I tried to boot!"

Actually, wouldn't putting a CD in a toaster actually fry the toaster since the CD is electronically run? Or would it melt it? I know putting metal foil in a microwave would do all sorts of damage to the microwave.

Whahuh?

It will warp/burn/melt the plastic. You didn't try it already and breathe the fumes, did you?
