Read the file inside the patch's compressed file.Franky wrote:No, my modded PS1 is the shizzle.Gil_Hamilton wrote:pSX is the shizzle.
Here's hoping that the translation was tested on real hardware, and not most predominantly on emulators (haven't played it yet, though I will be able to soon enough).

Hmm, ok. I haven't got a copy of the actual game yet, so I haven't bothered downloading the patch yet (thus, I haven't read any kind of readme associated with it). I'll read it now, though.Joe Camacho wrote:Read the file inside the patch's compressed file.Franky wrote:No, my modded PS1 is the shizzle.Gil_Hamilton wrote:pSX is the shizzle.

My unmodded PS1 is half-dead.Franky wrote:No, my modded PS1 is the shizzle.Gil_Hamilton wrote:pSX is the shizzle.

Prone to random reboots, making it basically unusable as a game system.
Yeah, that's why my modded PS1 is the shizzle: it's modded, and still works. I installed a new optic lense a while ago too; it works brilliantly. I'd say this PS1 will last at least another 8 years (here's hoping).Gil_Hamilton wrote:My unmodded PS1 is half-dead.Franky wrote:No, my modded PS1 is the shizzle.Gil_Hamilton wrote:pSX is the shizzle.

Mmmmm, reaction missiles. Nuke 'em till they glow!Joe Camacho wrote:Got Mazinkaiser and Shin Getter Robo!!!
Also, I got upgraded Valks with Reactor Missiles, awesome!
And the R-1 Custom, even if I don't have an idea why I got it, it's supposed to be a secret unit.
(Macross uses reaction missiles because it made good logical sense to be using nukes, but good guys can't use nukes on japanese TV.
But thermonuclear reaction weaponry, THAT's okay.)
I dunno about the R-1. Tell you when I get there.
Is it just me, or is SRWAG lacking a bit in english-language info.

Man, I started a mission with Mazinkaiser and Shin Getter Robo, they are BEASTS.
Awesome weaponry, good evade and armor, hell, even Mazinkaiser has stock HP regen. Both are using a part that gives 30% EN regen.
And yeah, in Gamefaqs there is only a two guides, one is incomplete and the other has covered the hard route.
There is also a secret unit faq, which states that the author doesn't know how to get the R-1 Custom.
At the Penny Arcade Forum there is a topic about SRWAG, one of the posts has a breakdown of the routes and how to get special units and skill points, still it doesn't say a thing about the R-1 Custom.
My guess is that you can only get it on the easy route, I have 10 or less skill points.

First of two DualShock-packaged models, last revision to have the "gameshark" port(but no system link port).
I'm actually not SURE it's in the power supply. It's just a best guess.
At random intervals, the screen will flash white, and the system drops back to the BIOS logo sequence.
Suppose it could be an intermittent short, or a bad video chip, or... whatever.
If I could find a PS with a bad drive, I could swap power boards and confirm.
If it were the slimline, I'd've long since tested a different AC adapter.
Mine's the scph-7502 version.
OR if I can't get a new power supply when/if my current one fails, I'll just use my modded PS2 (until I can get my hands on a new PS1 power supply)
I don't think this power suppy will be going anytime soon. And if it does, I can just install a new one (I've seen them for dirt cheap, ~£5).Unless the power supply starts to fail like mine did?
