It may even be feasible to use parts of bsnes instead of Snes9X as the original SNSF player does. Even if it DOES need ppu counters/open bus, it likely won't demand video output, so you can cut the whole video rendering.

There is a DLL version which works in Winamp: I am interested in that DLL source.
