Bug for ZSNES 1.42 game: Super Mario RPG

Post by Yoshmaista »

C:\Documents and Settings\Chris\My Documents\ZSNES\ZSNES\roms>nsrt3.exe -info "S
uper Mario RPG - Legend of the Seven Stars (U) [!].zip"
NSRT v3.0 Release Candidate 1. - Nach's SNES ROM Tools

---------------------Internal ROM Info----------------------
File: Super Mario RPG - Legend of the Seven Stars (U) [!].smc
Name: SUPER MARIO RPG Company: Nintendo
Header: None Bank: LoROM
Interleaved: No Chip: SA-1
Video: NTSC Mb: 32
Country: USA Version: 1.0
Checksum: Good 0x3BB4 CRC32: 1B8A0625
--------------------------Database--------------------------
Name: Super Mario RPG
Country: USA Version: 1.0
Port 1: Gamepad Port 2: Gamepad

AMD Athlon XP Thoroughbred core 1800+ (1.53ghz) @ 2.03ghz
512mb PC2100 Corsair Value RAM
Chaintech 6800GT 256mb GDDR3
Maxtor 7200RPM 40gb 2mb cache HDD

Believe that's all the really necessary info.

Basically, what happens is after it starts up the ROM, it crashes (ZSNES) after a random amount of time. I've got 2xSuper SAI engine on, but I've had it off with same resulst. 512x448 (whatever that resolution is) windowed at the moment. I also had a problem with Chrono Trigger in that it froze up every once in a while, but that seemed to fix itself.

Help, please?

Please, delete your config files and download the WIP 05/19:

The problem I have with the latest WIP is it doesn't have the rewind button anywhere (that I can find) and that's something I like to use in games like Chrono Trigger on boss battles so if my strategy stinks I can just go back and redo it :).

It does have a rewind button. In fact it's rewind button is much improved.

Actually, dass works too. ;)

But it's no good, the new ZSNES just crashes on startup. Grr.

I'm not german, but I've studied it long enough to say that you are right.
whicker: franpa is grammatically correct, and he still gets ripped on?
sweener2001: Grammatically correct this one time? sure. every other time? no. does that give him a right? not really.

Did you delete your config file first?

I also might add it's about time you updated your NSRT.

I downloaded the latest version I could find of both NSRT and ZSNES, and it's in a separate folder :\

hell NO, your dictionary does definitely not disagree with me, yes, both das and dass exist, but in that case, you can only use das... try to learn to read your dictionary right :P

It's just a dictionary, not a grammatic library. ;)

But I'm just saying it works. It may not be perfect german, but it does work, no?

No. 'dass' introduces a relative. It means jack shit if there's nothing behind it. It'd be like 'where is whom' in english.

yes, it's the wrong das.

das = that as in "What is that"
dass = that as in "What is the monster that is attacking us"

Or at least that's what I seem to remember from German class.

I chose Latin over German. Much more useful for me really.
