Save state isn't working right...keeps loading mine.

Okay...I've got some save states in single player. But when I play with someone else, save, and load, the single save state loads! Why?! It worked before...

We've both got the latest versions, and good computers...

Well isn't it bc your save states are in single player?
If your talking about save states it will only load you playing where you last left off and your friend or oppenent would just be watching. Why don't you use in game saves? :? :|

In game saves? You mean like F2 and F4? That's what I use...it just loads my other save states instead.

Thanks for the reply, though, I'm really confused...

...to clear things up:
F2 saves a Save State, and F4 loads a Save State. Save States pretty much save the state of the emulator, and in turn, you can pick up directly where you left off. But sometimes, save states can break things, which it makes it better to use an in-game save.
In-game saves: The battery backed memory which holds your save data. This would save levels completed, high scores, your overall progress throughout a game, etc. These would be the *.srm files in your saves directory. Some examples of games which used battery backed RAM:
Super Mario World
Super Mario All-stars
Kirby's Super Star
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
...among hundreds of others.
Hopefully this cleared things up :)
<Nach> so why don't the two of you get your own room and leave us alone with this stupidity of yours?

Should be able to ~_~ But I can't...it loads up my old saves from single player.

And when I just delete the saves to start over it freezes....

Anyway, she's really bad, so quicksave is really necessary.

Nah, you shouldn't be able too, it makes online games get desynced more easily.

It's so strange, though...the help files say the developers made multiplayer quicksave to be used like single player quicksave...

Oh well.

Yes, it's supposed to be like it, but it's really *not* recommended, unless you are on a LAN. By my experience anyway.

But on different conections, lag and desynced is expected when using savestates, rewinding and stuff like that.
