I can't seem to be able to install ZSNES on my computer I am baffled as to how I am suppose to do this as I have followed the instructions from Youtube videos and the like and even upgrade my DirectX but the file keeps coming up as an application and only able to be opened from the internet.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?

ZSNES doesn't create file associations on its own. Open ZSNES first, then open a rom file from within the menu. You can google how to create file associations yourself.

download zsnes as opposed to run it from online, dood
the exe is not an installer, it's THE EXE. download it, put it in a directory, run it
