I've found that WinXP shows some folders with the Read-Only property checked only because other folders higher up in the tree are set to Read-Only. I have to start at the root of C: and check the properties of each folder that is part of the path, undoing the read-only property from the top to the b...

It has always been my impression that the PS1 had no dedicated 3D graphics processing unit (GPU), and thus the 3d calculations and game rendering engine must be done on the CPU. Because every game must have their own engine that renders polygons and textures differently, it would be difficult or imp...

I recently breezed through Resistance: Fall of Man on the PS3 and was disappointed to find that there were no significant boss battles or challenging parts. One opportunity for an epic boss battle simply replaces it with an FMV! Am I the only one who thought that aspect really sucked in Half Life 2...

Hmm, this one definitely takes the cake, at least for me. Super Mario Bros. - The Lost Levels. World 2 was the equivalent of world 8 in the original Bros. in terms of difficulty. I started out with 128 lives in 1-1 and had used them all up by the time I got to world 9. I beat this on my SNES in Sup...

I just bought it at best buy for $25, and it's worth it :) it's the 'react' brand, and I bet it's near identical to the nintendo RGB cable. then there's one for like $60 and I was like hell no. sure you only get to bump up to 480p, but what you're forgetting is the clarity and the colors!! the brig...

I always wanted to play whichever was least popular. More people liked the colour red so I bought blue. More people liked colour gold so I bought silver. When diamond and pearl come out I'm getting pearl. So Yeah, blue. Hahaha, I bought blue and found silver on a sidewalk. Those are the only pokemo...

It wasn't unlocked. I had to do it. This year was not as cool as last year, but then again, I got a car last year. 400 dollars for clothes. Batallion Wars. Timesplitters 3. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for GC. I still need to get the present my father will give me tonight and the family g...

edit: It's kind of funny to see people keep recommending it (same as the Penny Arcade forum) just because they bought one for themselves. As opposed to recommending something that I haven't bought? Owning it (as I also do) gives you the right to critique it. One should not simply recommend it becau...

The hori extending stylus is something that the DS should have shipped with. Enough said. Bullshit. Explain. The original stylus with the original DS was made for little Japanese women's hands. Is there some other better product? Hmm, let's see. You hold pencils/pens with the tips of your fingers.....

Left-handers can play game systems fine with the D-Pad on the left...so why do you need to mouse with a particular hand? I have never been able to understand this... I've been playing every game on the keyboard with the d-pad button switch.. it's not that evil. ... Ditto. I'm a monster at Tetris At...
