It is nice when they use the arcade verison of Knights of the Round and the PSX version of Ogre Battle to be shown....

Overall, I'm in surprising agreement. Would've replaced the Firemen with Alcahest, though.

Would "underrated" be a better term?

I wouldn't know actually, but seriously, who hasn't heard about Tetris Attack?

I only heard about it until 2003, and I was a huge tetris fan. I even got tetrisphere.

Actually....a lot of my friends haven't heard of it at all. It's kind of sad to hear.

People that started playing games in 2004, and have only played The Sims and WoW.
Or 14-year olds who only play X-Box(360) and think Halo is the best game of all times.

Plenty of those around.

ha, and tetris attack isn't even a tetris game (even though it is a puzzler)

it is an awesome game though, like my FAVORITE battle puzzler.

Good list, but Tetris Attack, Illusion of Gaia and Rock ‘N Roll Racing are hidden? Not to me...

croco: the first two in your list weren't hidden for me as well ;)

however I have to say that games such as Megaman X2, X3, Chrono Trigger, and Earth Bound (though I did recently see a copy there for $50 at a Game Swap store) were hidden to me till I discovered emulation
<Nach> so why don't the two of you get your own room and leave us alone with this stupidity of yours?

That's sad. I had the fortune of playing both on the real system. And I still own my copy of Earthbound.

I don't know why we're debating what games aren't well known. Aside from the super popular games like Super Mario, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter II etc., most people don't know about these games. I should know, since half my friends wouldn't recognize any of the ones on that list.
