I've spent the last two days ripping the soundtrack of the Chrono
Trigger Prerelease. One of the tracks, the waterfall/Heckran Cave
ambience, is giving me trouble; I simply cannot pin it down in ZSNES.
Is there a way to extract it directly without playing the game and
using the option to rip SPC data?

FireKnight:I'm pretty sure a 1KG 24k gold brick costs less than that.
phonymike: well the same amount of raw metals used in a car costs a fraction of the price of a new car idiot. I'm gonna take away your posting privileges and replace them with my balls on your chin.
I smell spray paint.

you could learn 65c816 asm and trace all the code which extracts the SPC data from rom as it copies it to the sound system. then you'd have the original 'dump' instead of the way emulators do it.
