NES Rumors

Post by Nach »

Just to quelch any rumors before they start coming here too.

Some people think NES support was added to ZSNES, probably has something to do with images like these:

I can assure you, no one has commited NES support to ZSNES' CVS as of this writing, so distrust rumors that tell you that you can now get ZSNES with NES support.

And while we're at the rumor mill...
Regardless of what you've heard, I have NOT worked exstensively on getting ZSNES to auto translate games.

z64 written by ZSNES devs, actually has been released, but the name was changed because the other non ZSNES devs had a better name.

Surely it's a joke account. I pray that it is a joke account for the sake of humanity.

Ever since I saw the first post he\she\it made, I assumed the same. People take it very seriously usually, though.. I found it very obvious. Though if it is real, feel free to shoot me right now and end it quick.

....
Is it your joke account?

I never heard any either.. But hey, I don't go to any other emulation forums aside from this one and EmuTalk, so eh..

Basically, some devs decided to play around with cores from other emulators. These cores won't be put into ZSNES, however, from what I can tell.

They want us all to start speculating so they can feel smug and superior. But I am just speculating now...
