What's the fastest software decoder for VC-1 videos?

I'm looking for a VC-1 / WMV9 decoder that's extremely CPU-efficient in software mode (when not using DXVA). Something like a VC-1 version of CoreAVC (a great H.264 software decoder). The default Windows Media codecs are extremely slow. I've also tried ffdshow - it's noticeably faster but still not ...

Either way, I think you'd get more appreciation adding things to Mednafen (like the GUI), rather than using its PC-Engine core and claiming you have a brand new emulator. *snip* ROFL! @__ XD @Exophase: Stop attacking the newsposter and send all your hate mail to the real project owner (pault414). If you use the 'Rip' option, you can't select separate tracks. Weird.

You'll have to add the tracks to the playlist first and then use the 'convert' option from the right-click context menu.

Ripping single CD-DA tracks with Foobar

Is this possible with the latest version of Foobar2000?
All I want to do is to rip a single track, but looks like foobar's GUI is lacking a much needed feature :( You can only rip complete CDs,not single tracks.

Take the current ALSA and fuse it with the 64-bit FP SW mixer from OSS4, integrate JACK2 into the mix (for ridiculously low latencies and advanced connectivity) and you have the perfect Linux audio system :)

Still terrible, but there's a small improvement (3%) in the vertex shader performance with the new drivers, even with old (<= GL 2.1) games/apps
