Click enters GUI, but not game
Hello, new here, blablabla...
This is really a minor problem, hehe, but it kinda bothers me.
I had 1.36 until a few seconds ago and one thing I liked was the "Click enters GUI". Automatically after I right-click it enters the GUI and I can change my settings, still holding the gamepad in my left hand.
Changed to 1.42 and it works fine entering GUI, but whereas I could click back to the game in the earlier version i cannot now. Not a big issue, but it would be nice if you could get it working till next major release.
Sorry if I'm picky, otherwise the emus working perfect for me. Great work as usual.

Right-clicking in and out of the game works for me, have you tried using the latest WIP version from ipher's site?

Or you could have forgotten to delete your config files between version changes. Or, just install each different version in a different folder.

Yes, that's true. Guess it's got something to do with right-click being used to move the Zsnes-window i windowed mode?Noxious Ninja wrote:Let me guess: you guys are running ZSNES in windowed mode, aren't you?
I use windowed mode + MSN to chat since I use a swedish keyboard which doesn't have the same layout as the english, which Zsnes uses = problems writing). Hmm, a bit of a detour of the topic...
Also, I did delete the config file. Wierd.
Yup, my problem too. But it worked in 1.36.CharlieF wrote:Huh, I don't get it. I just tried 1.26, 1.42, and the WIP, and I can right click out, but not right click back in. Am I missing something?
Can't perhaps right double-click be the way back to the game? Or maybe just take away the move window function with right click since you can move the window by pulling/grabbing the title?

Thought this would be a nice, relatively easy way to get a little familiar with the ZSNES source, and if at least one person will use it, why not?

Gives the option to have the fullscreen right-click behavior in windowed mode. The current dragging behavior is the default. Only for the Win port since I'm not even sure if the SDL port has this behavior, and I'd have no way to test it. Did I miss anything in my changes?

Perhaps a developer can commit it to CVS, and also possibly make it an option to choose between the two behaviors.washuu108 wrote:Thought this would be a nice, relatively easy way to get a little familiar with the ZSNES source, and if at least one person will use it, why not?

If/when a developer commits it to CVS, I'll compile an executable for you.

Still, if a complete newbie to the ZSNES GUI code can modify it, I guess it means ipher's been doing his job.

Edit: Was on my way to work earlier, didn't have time to say anything or even test that. (Build+upx finished pretty much as I was out the door)
Edit2: Missed guimouse.inc in the patchfile earlier so you could only toggle it by the keyboard shortcut, now corrected.

Nach too, I imagine I'd have to fiddle around with things a lot more a month ago, before parsegen.Noxious Ninja wrote:Still, if a complete newbie to the ZSNES GUI code can modify it, I guess it means ipher's been doing his job.
Already had it as an option. (GUI Optns, Click Moves GUI)bitcopy wrote:Perhaps a developer can commit it to CVS, and also possibly make it an option to choose between the two behaviors.
